Swan Duty Roster 2023

Those wishing to volunteer to be a Race Official on Swan for Season 2023 - 2024 should register to take part in a workshop in September below:

The Club Captain, Ian Campbell  and State Race Officer, Frank McMahon will guide you through some of the nuances of race management at QLYC and introduce you to the QLYC Swan training as part of an induction program.

Race Officers Guide

Race Officers must
- be accredited Club Race Officers with Sailing Australia

To operate Swan you would need to

- hold a Marine License
- hold a VHF radio License, and
- have completed an induction program through the QLYC.

The attached race officers guide gives some basic information you will need and also helpful tips for acting as a crew on our committee boat Swan.
