The Lady Nelson Trophy Race
This trophy is a special framed picture of the Lady Nelson which commemorated the original voyage of her discovery of Port Phillip Bay in February 1802 after the vessel had been surveying the Victorian coast. A replica vessel in the Lady Nelson sails out of Hobart as a tourist and training ship.
The trophy was originally sponsored by Jens Gaunt Real Estate from 2008.
The race entails one set around the fixed marks of Queenscliff area from one of the clubs set courses.
All Skippers and crew are to register for each race , prior to the start of each race.
Any crew member who is not a member of QLYC, must take out a temporary membership (Sailpass - Cost $15.00) for the day, prior to registering for the race.

Drinks and snacks will be available at QLYC Boat Shed after the race and provisional results announced.
