Intro to Sea Kayak Clinic 25th or 26th Mar 2023
QLYC invites interested paddlers to participate in an 'introduction to Sea Kayak’ clinic conducted on Swan Bay from the QLYC Boat Shed.
This clinic is designed to provide some basic sea kayak specific skills. It is suited to those with some basic paddling skills looking to extend themselves and try something new. It is suitable for ages 14+.
The course is a one day session conducted over one weekend held on either the Sat or the Sun. The exact timing of the session will be advised a few days before. It will be based on the forecast weather conditions to get the best of the weekend (keep the weekend free)
All equipment is provided or BYO if you have your own. (your craft needs to be 4.5m min but ideally 5.2m). If you BYO there will be a discussion about appropriateness of craft)
Places are limited to 8 paddlers. (we’ll run a wait list and if demand is there then we may extend the session)
Cost $80
