We had a very successful weeding morning last Friday. Thanks to the members who arrived ready to get down and dirty in the weeds. And thank you to Heather for the deliciious morning tea.

The Kikyu grass is receding and the combination of weed mat and mulch is slowing it's growth. The aim is to keep pulling it off the trees and shrubs, allowing the native plants to thrive.

If you can spare some time, please come on Friday and join in the fun and companionship, getting to know fellow club members. Bring strong gloves, insect repellent, hat and your favourite garden tool, a bucket or tub is handy too.
