This is a Series of introductory learn to paddle clinics conducted on Swan Bay.

This activity is for beginner paddlers utilising their own paddling craft.

NB. This Series is only available to those participants who will utilise their own paddling craft. Club paddling craft will not be available for participants in this Series.

The Series is conducted over four evening sessions. 

You will need to register for the entire Series (4 sessions).

There is no charge for QLYC members. 

The cost for non-members of QLYC is $40.00 for the series

Non members must obtain a temporary membership/sailpass for each of the four sessions, which can be obtained Here. 

FIRST SESSION - You will learn how to hold a paddle and basic strokes. 

SECOND SESSION - You will learn what to do if you fall out and how to get back into your craft.

THIRD SESSION - You participate in a short trip with stroke tuition.

FOURTH SESSION - You participate in a social paddle in the company of others followed by a BYO BBQ on the terrace deck overlooking Swan Bay.

Please ensure you bring suitable wet gear (including shoes, hat, sunnies), a towel, drink bottle and a change of clothes.

PLEASE NOTE - all paddling activity is weather dependent.  Typically novice paddling would not proceed with a wind above 15knots.
